Support CHEERS

CHEERS School Family, Inc is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization, dedicated to learning, literacy and love.

We are dedicated to:

Empowering & equipping the promise of tomorrow’s generation today through:
* Education
* Enrichment
* Experience
* Energized community collaboration
so that the children in our communities have a strong foundation for the future.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to children and their early educational and academic foundation. We strive to serve all families, regardless of their economic status. While tuition is our primary source of income, and yet only covers 93% of our actual operating costs. We are able to accept state-subsidized children and offer scholarships to lower income families only by seeking community donations and conducting frequent fundraisers. We rely on the generosity of individuals, organizations, and businesses to supplement our revenue, so that we may continue to enroll children from a wide range of economic backgrounds.

A growing body of research shows that high quality early child care makes a significant difference in the lives of many children, and your support will help us better prepare more children for the growing academic requirements of our school system. Your investment will return children who are ready to learn and succeed in school and beyond!

Please consider making a donation to our program today. We accept donations of cash, stocks, securities or real property. We also accept donations of supplies, equipment, and educational furniture. All donations are tax deductible as well!

All three of our Centers are proud to be United Way agencies! United Way agencies undergo a rigorous application process that assures fiscal responsibility, sound governance, and effective program delivery.

We encourage you to designate your United Way donation to either Children First Child Development Center or Heritage Child Development Center. Additionally, if you are a Federal employee, you may designate your donation to Children First Child Development Center or Heritage Child Development Center, #97171, through the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area.
