Tweeners
12-18 months:
This program is offered at Heritage CDC only. Tweeners are older infants who have learned (or almost learned!) to walk and are generally more active than infants. They are eating table food, have learned to use a sippy cup, and are transitioning to one nap per day. In this room, teachers pay greater attention to gross motor skill development, and introduce more socialization skills.
The teacher-to-child ratio is this classroom is 1 to 4.
