Welcome to the CHEERS School Family’s virtual tour.

Both of our Child Development Centers - Heritage in Berryville, VA and Children First in Kearnerysville, WV, are built around a farm theme and designed to evoke the rich farming history of the surrounding area.

Step into our lobby and you’ll immediately notice that our centers were designed with children in mind. The lobby contains the front desk, a cubby for each family, restrooms and a white-board with messages for parents.

Many of our families are commuting long distances and we appreciate how hard that can be so both centers have a coffee machine ready to fill you up on your morning commute. At Children First the coffee machine is located in the lobby and at Heritage it is located immediately to your right as you enter the kitchen. So please feel free to top off your cup of joe and enjoy that morning commute!

Continue on through the interior security doors - you’ll enter the main hallway which is painted with a mural that represents the farming heritage of Jefferson County (Children First) or a mural that illustrates the history of the friendly Town of Berryville (Heritage). The hallways are also decorated with the children’s artwork and classroom bulletin boards displaying lesson plans and menus. Extending from the main hall, there are six bright and spacious classrooms designed to meet the emerging needs of children as they grow, and three age-appropriate outdoor playgrounds, surrounded by secure fencing, to challenge their physical development and provide a safe and secure environment.
